DETOS has received Electrotechnical Laboratory (ETL) certification from the Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan ? certificate number ML.2001, issued July 31, 2025 and valid through July 30, 2027.
WHAT THE CERTIFICATE AUTHORIZES
The ML.2001 certificate grants DETOS official authorization to conduct testing of:
- Grounding systems and earth resistance measurement
- Insulation resistance testing
- Contact connection testing
- Photovoltaic installation commissioning tests
Testing is performed according to Uzbek standards ONA-16-18-V, T-336-2-8, and international standard IEC 60364-7-712:2002 for solar installations.
WHY IT MATTERS
ETL certification is not a formality. It is the legal prerequisite for issuing technical conclusions on electrical installations in Uzbekistan. Without it, a solar installation cannot be officially commissioned ? it stays off-grid from the regulatory standpoint, regardless of how well it performs technically.
DETOS is one of a small number of private companies in Uzbekistan to hold this certification. It positions us to offer clients a complete service: from design through installation through official commissioning documentation.
VALIDITY & RENEWAL
Certificate ML.2001 is valid from July 31, 2025 through July 30, 2027. Renewal is subject to re-inspection by the Agency. DETOS maintains all required laboratory equipment and documentation standards for continuous compliance.
